Geocache Description:

An old historic mill site, within a nature preserve.

Note 25 August 2014: I am serving outside of the country, and apparently the geocache has been muggled, I note it was last found in 2013. Sigh... I welcome anyone who wants to put a cache back in the spot, but I don't expect to be back until sometime in 2015. In the meantime, it truly is a grand spot, and if you haven't been here, you should go.

Welcome to my cache, I live just up the road from here. I hope you find this place as happy as I do.

At site: Involves some climbing around rocks, please be careful.

There is an easy way! which involves no bushwhacking (meaning, you never need to push the branches out of your way, or even have the vegetation over your ankle!)

Then there are other more challenging and difficult ways to get there for those of you who like to get wet and dirty.

On Foot: park at the Audubon sanctuary parking lot on Upper Mast Landing Road. Closes at sunset. The friendly Caretaker (Peter) knows about the cache and has on occasion chatted with visitors.

By boat, canoe or innertube (fun & possible on the high tide, with a short walk at the end).
