Located off of State Route 610 in Chester Gap, VA. This is a fun, kid-tested hike of about 1.4 miles round trip (our 4-year-old has hiked it many times). Be sure to take the time to stop and enjoy the beautiful views of the valley at Possum's Rest.
This cache is named for the hostel at the end of the road on Route 610. It is called Terrapin Station and is primarily for AT thru-hikers, but if you are in the area in the summertime stop in and say Hi to Mike, the Grateful Greenpeace Guy.
The parking coordintates are N38 50.951 W078 09.102. There are no parking signs along the road, but as long as you are parked off of the state maintaned road you will be OK.
