Geocache Description:

Near the head of a coombe, beside a stony, winding track: Typically Exmoor

A sandwich-sized plastic box; contains a log, pencil and three trade items.

NB:I've taken note of :"Note to the maintainer, it might be an idea to find a slightly different hiding place, as its starting to suffer from erosion which we shouldn't be encouraging."Please see my Log Entry for 11-5-05.

The cache is placed so as to be picked-up on the walk-off after marching the ridge from Wootton Courtney to Exford Common, taking in Robin & Joaney's Howes, Kit Barrows, Dunkery Beacon, Rowbarrow, and Bendell's barrows; returning by Dicky's path, and (maybe) Dunster path: And if your feet don't smart a bit after that lot, you're a bettr man than I.... Or, you could wimp-out and stroll in from the car-park at Webber's Post (There's often an Icecream man there)
