A cache near the Pinhoti Trail with beautiful mountain views.
This is the very first cache placed by the Mudpuppy Men. We picked this site because its close to Dalton, yet in a seldom visited area. Be very careful in wet weather as the terrain will become very slippery!! (We placed it on a dry day) This may not be a good one to take youngsters or pets along to find. The cache is in a clear plastic box with a white lid. We left: a log book and ink pens, dice, deck of cards, flashlight w/o batteries, rubber teeth, lighter, compass, and tape measure.
