Lake Red Rock is home to many eagles during the winter months. Late January and early February provide the best view of our nation's symbol. The Horn's Ferry bridge (located in the Howell Station campground) is the perfect place for bird watching as the bridge protrudes over the water, offering visitors a close-up view.
This is a two stage cache mainly for the purpose of getting you to park so that you will have to cross the bridge in order to get to the cache. Park your car in the area of the coordinates given. Find a sign That says "Boats stay back xxx feet from dam. Take that number x 3 then add 187 to get the coordinates for the cache

The cash is a gladware container with a blue lid filled with treasures.
After we hid the cache we came across a big hole in the ground, fairly close by, one would assume an animal of some sort might live there. so please watch your step.
For some added fun you could take the bike trail to the North Overlook Cache while you are in the area.
