Hi There Cachers! This is a 2 stage cache hunt with a rewarding end! The final stage is packed full of souvenirs from my home state .... ALASKA ... THE LAST FRONTIER! I would love to trade out souvenirs from your home state or maybe from some cool place you have traveled! **Alaska items run out from time to time ... I try to keep them stocked**
This is the 4th cache I have placed at this location. The first one was destroyed by the beavers and the second was left wide open and ruined by a visiting cacher. Yes ... it was in an ammo can! 4th just got gone. Go figure! Anyway, this is a replacement. It is renamed and placed in the same area, but slightly different location. The first stage is not anywhere near where the original first stage was. You will get complete credit for finding this new and improved version! The first stage is now in a stainless steel tiny container with a small screw lid and hanging from a tree. The second stage is now a large lock'n'lock container. It will be stocked with some great trading items from ALASKA as soon as the replacement batch somes in the mail! Please just take one item per cacher as I have to have all this stuff shipped in! PLEASE TAKE TIME to write about your experience in the log book! That is the best souvenir for me! I take a long time to make sure that all you cachers get to take home great stuff, so leave me a good log! Thanks for hunting my latest (well one of my first) caches. This is by far me favorite. The large boardwalk has some damage from recent flooding, so be cautious when looking at the beavers, ducks and other cool wildlife! I would love some great pictures! If you take any, please upload them in your online log!
