Cache is gearchiveerd ivm te lang op disabled staan (Langer dan 14 dagen tbv onderhoud).
Mocht de cache, of onderhoud van de cache, aan je aandacht ontsnapt zijn, en je de cache alsnog weer nieuw leven wilt inblazen, dan graag even een berichtje via email.
Als de cache hersteld of herplaatst is, wil ik de cache wel terughalen uit het archief, mits deze aan de huidige voorwaarden voldoet.

Niet moeilijke maar wel interessante GeoCache. Kan het begin zijn van een leuke dag! Wandelen in de buurt is zeker een optie! Tevens mogelijkheid voor C.I.T.O.
Not so difficult but interesting GeoCache. Could be the start of a nice day... Anyway, walking in the neighbourhood sure is an option! Also C.I.T.O. option.
In 1940-1945 hebben de Duitsers op deze plaats een fabriek gehad voor BMW motoren van V-2 raketten! Door handige sabotage door de Belgische dwangarbeiders had deze fabriek nooit operationeel kunnen worden als Nederland niet al bevrijd was... Nieuwsgierig? Volg de cache en leer meer over dit mysterieuze verhaal... echt gebeurd!
In 1940-1945 the Germans had a factory at this location to build BMW engines for V-2 rockets! By careful sabotage by the Belgian workers this factory could never have been in use if Holland would not have been liberated.

1. Deze GeoCache ligt verstopt bij een bezienswaardigheid. Om hem te vinden heb je geen gereedschap nodig, hooguit een schepje. Een waarschuwing vooraf: deze GeoCache ligt nogal in de kijker. wees niet bevreesd om 'm open te maken. de mensen die hier rond lopen zullen hooguit geïnteresseerd zijn. Nog meer medestanders! Maar hou 't geheel niet te opvallend.
This Geocache is hidden near an interesting site. To find it, you don't need any tools, maybe somthing to dig a littelbit. A warning: this Geocache is placed in a very "visible" location. Do not be affraid to open it. People walking around will only be interested. Maybe more interesters. Don't make it too public!
2. Aangekomen bij de locator moet je even naar de cache zoeken. De cache zelf ligt evenveel dingen naar rechts als waar het bord aan is bevestigd... Lees ook de tekst op hetgeen op de locator aanwezig is! Daarna wijst alles zich vanzelf. Je hebt voor deze GeoCache geen sleutel nodig. Je opent de kast met een muntje. Koop hiervan na afloop een ijsje. Links onder en links boven zit een soort slot. 1/4 slag draaien om te openen.
Arrived at the location you have to search for the cache. The cache is situated as much things to the right as the sign is mounted on... First, read the text on the thing placed at the location! After that, the rest is peanuts. You'll find out. For this Geaocache you don't need a key. You open the case with a coin. Buy an icecream for it afterwards. In the top and bottom left corner there is a lock. Turn 1/4 to open.
3. Cache In Trash Out: In de GeoCache vind je een paar lege zakken (in Limburgs: tuuten) en die kun je gebruiken om eventuele rotzooi op te ruimen. Wil je niet met die tuut rondlopen? Laat 'm dan in de GeoCache en vermeld dit bij je log. Dan zorg ik ervoor dat 'ie opgeruimd wordt. Onderweg kom je ook prullenbakken tegen, da's makkelijker en houdt de cache zelf ook opgeruimd.
In the Geocache you will find some bags, in Limburgs it is called "tuut". You can use them to take away rubbish. Don't want to walk around with the tuut? Name it in the log, and I'll take care of it when you put it into the Geaocache. When walking around you'll find various trashcans, which is easier and it keeps the cache tidy.
4. Vanuit de geocache kun je mooi naar Valkenburg lopen. Duurt 30-60 minuten en is heel gemakkelijk: gewoon de rivier volgen (Geul) stroomopwaarts. Er lopen allerlei paden langs; kan niet mis gaan. Als je in Valkenburg verblijft, ga dan met de bus naar de cache (lijn 50 richting M'tricht, uitstappen laatste halte Houthem, vertrek voor gemeentehuis rond 20 min. voor het hele uur), teruglopen is namelijk een goede optie! Vanuit maastricht pak je de lijn 50 en stap je uit bij de eerste halte in Houthem. De rest is hetzelfde.
From the geocache it is a nice walk to Valkenburg. It will take 30-60 minutes and is very easy: just follow the river (Geul) upstream. Various tracks lead along the river. Can't go wrong. When you are staying in Valkenburg, take the bus to the cache (line 50 to Maastricht, get out at last stop in Houthem (ask driver), get in at the townhall at about 20min. before the hour. Walking back is a good option! From Maastricht take the same line to Valkenburg and get out at the first stop in Houthem. The rest is the same.
5. Is de cache niet in orde? Heeft een hond erin gepoept, staat ie onder water of heeft een dier zich erin genesteld? Zet het even in het log, dan zorg ik z.s.m. voor service. Bij geen bericht blijft de cache langere tijd door mij onaangeroerd.
Is something wrong with the cache? Has a dog put a doodie in it, is it floated with water or has an animal taken the cache as its new home? Put it into the log and I'll service it a.s.a.p. Without comments the cache will stay unattended by me for a longer period.
Hopelijk vind je het een leuke cache, ik stel (uitvoerige) logs altijd zeer op prijs.
