You are looking for a camo'd ammo can that we recycled from
another, now-archived cache of ours (don't let the lettering that
says "Hold the Line" confuse you!).
The cache is easily accessible from Phelan Road or Hwy. 138.
Unless you have an off-road vehicle, park at the "turnout" on
Beekley Road, southwest of the cache site. Follow the wash downhill
from there.
There are lots of sharp or spiny plants in the immediate
vicinity of the cache. Gloves might help, but not required if
you're careful. As always, look carefully before digging under
bushes or rocks!
