Whether you come by land or lake, be prepared to stay awhile and enjoy this beautiful retreat.
The cache is situated a short walk from the most popular of several picnic grounds, and is also near the site of the original settlers homestead.
A network of walking trails exists, and the gently undulating tracks are suitable for family outings. A large population of Kangaroos, Wallabies and numerous birds inhabit the area, and from August to November many wildflowers can be seen.
If you approach by boat, keep an eye out for the dolphins that make the lake their home. There are barbeques, a day shelter and toilets. So have a Whale of a time!
