On top of Little Baldy elevation climb of 2500 ft and a 13 mile round trip hike.
The cache is located at the top of Little Baldy. It is reached from the Great Western Trail. You will have a great view of Provo canyon and the trail going up to the saddle behind Big Baldy. You will also have a great view of the valley. You can reach the Great Western from many places. One is above Orem Cemetery at the parking lot for the Bonneville shoreline trail. You can head up the road to coordinates N 111 20.184 W 111 38.546 and the Great Western takes off up the mountain from there. You can also go up the road .8 miles from the parking lot where there is another trail that goes up the mountain at the bottom of the grade in the road. This will meet up with the Great Western and cut down the distance to about 10 miles round trip. Not many steep grades and the trail is good to the saddle. The Great Western can also be reached from dry canyon and Canyon Glen Park.
