My Kids Fort Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Michael: Received at Groundspeak:

This morning we picked up 4 unpermitted geocaches from Fort Harrison. They are in storage at the NHC waiting for someone to claim or repermit them. The owners were notified by e-mail of the need to obtain the DNR permit to keep the cache active on the park on December 7, 2006, and then through a second notice in mid January 2007. We told them March 1 was the deadline and then waited 30 days past that deadline to remove the cache and allow for bad weather.

Here is a list of the caches that we pulled:

GC3070 Barts cache

GCKG1J Joy in the Journey

GCH2H5 My Kids Fort Cache

GCYE2P Walk the Walk

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Geocache Description:

This cache is in a state park and a $4 fee is required for entry unless you have an annual pass (which I recommend). Park at N 39 52.362 W 086 01.154 for best access to the trail.

The cache is a tupperware container my kids filled with several fun items. It is our first cache and they were very excited about hiding it. The last 20 feet or so could be an uphill challenge. I would be careful if the ground is muddy.
