Wilson Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

lpyankeefan: Augh! While I hate to see old caches archived...especially one that's one month shy of ten years old, it's now time to make way for a new cache in the general area.

Many thanks to those who have hunted for this one over the years. I shall leave the container out for a few weeks to allow those who have it in their current pocket queries to hunt for it and then log in a timely manner.

For all intents an purposes this one is deceased! A note to the reviewer...I shall post an "Owner Maintenance" note when the container has finally been retrieved. No additional logs shall be permitted after that date.

Geocache Description:

Historic Wilson Bridge Picnic Area has the oldest and longest stone arch bridge in the county. Located approximately seven miles west of Hagerstown off of Route 40, beside the Hagerstown Race Track.

You can park at N39 39.455 W77 50.812

The cache is a regular sized clear container with a blue lid.

The cache is well hidden because it looks like the area gets frequented quite often. So please rehide it well.

The area around the cache is certainly an opportunity for CITO. The bridge area however is quite scenic and photogenic which is why I chose the area.
