A fairly short walk.
First in a series of caches placed to show you the beauty of Barbershop Canyon! They were placed in the order: Lead, Bass, Baritone, and Tenor. All driving can be done in a 2WD P/U. Slightly more walking will be needed if you drive a low clearance vehicle.
Barbershop Canyon runs all the way from the top of the rim to near here, where it empties into East Clear Creek, just below the Blue Ridge Reservoir. It is a steep walled canyon in many places, remote and serene. This cache will give you a taste of what you will experience when you complete the series.
'Exit' SR 87 at N34°36.781' W111°11.206', FR95 and head south to N34°33.026' W111°09.774'. Turn left onto FR 96 and follow your GPSr!
