On a mountain at 6200 feet. 11 Km from the pavement. Stay with the powerlines. Yellow kilometer markers along the road. The road has been much improved since I placed the cache in 2003; you may find that hard to believe when you reach 7.8 Km... But if you persevere til Km 9, it is almost clear sailing from there on. I made it originally in my aptly named Geo Metro (mostly in first gear), but I would recommend a 4X4! I went this time in my Yaris, low gear again, slowly and carefully!
Rubbermaid container, wrapped in a black garbage bag. You will have to move a few rocks.
