Pine Creek Revisited Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ima Lost: I am archiving this cache as it has not been overly active in the last couple of years. It has also become hard for me to do maintenence on this cache due to health reasons. I am pulling the cache, but will be placing a new cache somehere else. Any TB's or coins in the cache will be moved on. Thanks to the Park Personnel for allowing a Cache in their park and Thanks to all of the Cachers who came to hunt!!

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Little Pine State Park in Lycoming County.

It has been named Pine Creek Revisited. It will replace the Pine Creek Cache, which has been removed at the request of the Park Management (safety issues). So all of you whom have visited the old cache can now “Revisit” (and log another find).

The cache is located off the Lake Shore Trail – no other tips or hints needed on this one. It is winter accessable, as this trail is designated for both cross county skiing and mountain biking.

Please take the time to visit within the park. This is truly one of the nicest parks in Pennsylvania and has had recent renovations and improvements. It contains three cabins you can rent, four picnic areas, a volleyball court, swimming, fishing (electric motors only), hiking and much more. There are 14 mi. of trails within the park. And in this park you can go sledding and tobagganing in the winter.

The Iroquoian and Algonkian Indian nations used this area as hunting grounds. So I would challenge you to hunt this cache and enjoy this beautiful park.
