An easy spot to get to, the reservoir has little traffic and plenty to keep ducks happy. Park in the parking area in front of the gate.
The area does not get as much use as it might, thanks to an ambiguous but large "Private Property" sign and a gate. In smaller letters, the sign explains that the private property actually commences 1/2 mile down the road. You'll turn at the path that goes around the lake, so nowhere near any private property. The cache is hidden just a couple hundred feet down the path.
This cache has been muggled several times, so we've moved it a little further down the trail. Please be careful to cover the cache well after visiting it. At original placement, the area suffered from an abundance of trash. When re-placing the cache after the last muggling, the area was almost pristine. Thanks to all who have taken some trash out!
The cache has recently recieved some much-needed maintenance. --new ammo can container and lots of new goodies inside!
