Geocache Description:

This is in Harold Parker State Forest. This was hidden by a group of cub scouts (bears) from a local pack. The name "Snake Island" was coined by the boys, because we saw 2 black racers sunning themselves on some rocks near where we hid the cache. The cache is not on an island though. Don't let the name fool you, just some healthy cub scout imaginations. You can take trails to within a few yards from the cache. It is hidden near a nice view of a familiar site to local scouts.

The cache is a rubbermaid container and includes a variety of cub scout related things including a pinewood derby car, a wolf neckerchief, and neckerchief slide, various trinkets, and the logbook contains some short messages from the boys.

The cache is hidden similar to most local caches. there is plenty of overhead canopy, but there is a little break in the canopy near the cache where you should be able to get a reading.
