How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

In order to find this cache you must first solve a riddle. This will either be very hard, or very easy depending on your skill at solving them. It could also depend on your age, because I heard this one when I was very young. Do not use the Internet! You will feel burning shame if you do! The answer to the riddle is a single word.

To get the final location of the cache you must first solve the riddle, then determine the digital root of the word (where a = 1, b = 2, c = 3, etc...). Divide this number by 100 so you get a decimal in the format of 0.0X0, and add it the north and west portions of the posted coordinates. It is OK to use the Internet to learn more about digital roots :-)

The riddle is:

What room has an inside and an outside, no doors and no windows?

At the time of placement this cache contained:

* Pencil, sharpener and logbook;
* A red 'Canada' truck key chain;
* A bicycle chain key chain;
* A long glow-stick;
* A rubber snake;
* A folding travel cribbage deck;
* A 9 piece math set for future scientists & engineers :-);
* A padlock with 2 keys.

Please enjoy, and please use your 'geocacher stealth' when making your find. Also please re-hide it as well as (if not better) than you found it since the cache is in a well trafficked area.

If attempting this cache in colder temperatures please bring along a tool to open the container. Channel locks, or a 12" spanner will work perfectly.
