Geocache Description:

READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION TO BE PREPARED!

This is a relatively simple one, but a nice walk down the bike path and through the woods. The forest preserve parking lot entrance is on Dundee Road, just east of Milwaukee Ave.

Remember the old shell game, where a pea is placed under one of three shells, shuffled around, and you have to guess which one it is under? OK, maybe not, but the old artifacts (trash to some) in this area reminded me of that. This might be an insight to the hiding place when you get there.

Check your maps before you go out for this one. Depending on the season and the weather you may have to take a roundabout way in. There is low ground here and a high river may make the easy way impossible. We’ve biked the path and hiked this forest preserve for years and always see deer, many are quite large.

The cache is a medium sized Tupperware style container with the usual trinkets in it. Try to be discreet and look around as we have occasionally seen people hiking around here. Please seal it and replace as found. There is plenty of other smaller trash to haul out. Enjoy your hunt!
