Lessons in Modern Cartography, #3 Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Ever wonder who makes those map products you use for geocaching, and how they do it? In this series, you will sample some of the steps yourself.

Lesson #3: Develop Your Pictures.

This is a letterbox hybrid. You'll find the following things inside the ammo can:

--Logbook
--Pens/Pencils
--Stamp and ink
--Postcards
--A few other trade items

For those of you who are doing this as a letterbox, here are your clues:

Just west of the inland sea and north of the border between two difficult-to-pronounce counties, no you aren't in Ohio, but it sure sounds that way, at least until you find this park and see its name! Forge ahead into the woods--that's right, VERY right--and enter Mr. Rabbit's log cabin. Log in just as you would at any other letterbox. Feel free to exchange a postcard, if you wish.

For those of you who are doing this as a geocache, here are your instructions:

When you find this cache, look inside. In one of the plastic bags, you will find a set of postcards. This is a postcard-swap cache. If you have no postcards, look for the other couple items put there just for you, and swap whatever you choose to. Use a stamp and ink (your own or the one I have provided) in the log book at the beginning of your personal entry.

All of you may now enter this find as BOTH a geocache AND a letterbox! Log in to letterboxing at http://www.letterboxing.org/ and geocaching at the main menu (see top left of this page).
