Geocache Description:

GGA 2007 Outstanding Cache

The above coordinates are not the cache location.

Codes, Ciphers, Rhymes, Riddles, Puzzles, Brainteasers and Math. To all of you Geocachers that have driven me crazy with those devious caches, well this is your payback. What most people do not know is that a famous scientist loved puzzles. His friends and other scientists would send him problems, riddles, brainteasers, etc. to solve. HE decided to come up with one of his own that he sent to all his colleagues. He estimated that only 2% of the people could solve it. Can You? Are you a 2%’er? ‘Revenge is best when served up cold!’ (Quote Dr. Evil).

Here is the Puzzle:

· There are 5 houses, each is a different color

· In each house lives a person of a different nationality

· These 5 owners all drink a certain beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar and keep a certain pet

· No owner has the same pet, smokes the same cigar or drinks the same drink as another owner

1. The Briton lives in a red house

2. The Swede keeps a dog

3. The Dane drinks tea

4. The green house is on the left of the white house, they are also next door to each other

5. The green house owner drinks coffee

6. The person who smokes Cohiba keeps birds

7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill

8. The man living in the house right in the center drinks milk

9. The Norwegian lives in the first house

10. The man who smokes Davidoff lives next to the one who keeps cats

11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill

12. The owner who smokes Rothschild drinks beer

13. The German smokes Prince

14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house

15. The man who smokes Davidoff has a neighbor who drinks water.

To find the cache you have to answer:

Solve the following: N34 0A.BCD W84 0E.FGH

Example of solving: 'Dane' plus 2 letters equals 6. 'Dane' less 2 letters = 2.

I highly recommend walking the whole 4 mile Laurel Ridge Trail, it's a truly beautiful area. Check out the dam and the goats behind the fence too.

You will be looking for a 50 cal. Ammo Can hidden in a park that is open from 8am to 10pm [this may change to 5pm in the Fall]. Important: This cache is located on Corps of Engineers property. From time to time they close the parking due to security alerts. If the area is closed, do not try and find this cache. Wait until the area is reopened.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
