shunra: In light of the DNFs and since I won't have time to check on this cache before my trip to Europe, I'll archive this one for now. My apologies to the last few who were disappointed. I hope you enjoyed this wonderful corner of Washington nonetheless. A day at Becket Point is never a wasted day.

Geocache Description:

This cache is at Beckett Point, one of my favourite locations. The best time to come here is before sunset.

The coordinates will lead you to a flagpole. Next to the flagpole is a plaque, which actually lists its coordinates, in a slightly different format.

1 - This question is responsible for the difficulty level; the rest is fairly easy. Look at the plaque. The longitude on the plaque is not quite accurate. Their latitude, however, is wrong altogether. What is the difference in full integer MINUTES between their latitude and mine? Add 44 and divide by 4, and you'll have A.

2 - Leave your car behind, bumble along through the street, and enjoy the view, the smells, and the sounds. The buildings are pretty neat, too. At the corner, you'll see a warning sign. Unless danger is imminent, ignore it, at least until you're done with the cache. :-)
What's the number of the house the sign is on? B is the sum of the digits, multiplied by 2.

OK, that's it. Get ready for the real cache... Its coordinates are:

N 48 4.A, W 122 53.B

For control purposes: A and B are each two-digit numbers. My GPSr is not accurate enough to record the 3rd digit, and you'll have to do without it, too.

When you get to the cache, make sure you leave it in the same condition you found it, so as to prevent it from being damaged by water, or found by accident. And before you continue to your next cache in the area, stay a bit, and take in the beauty of the place.
