Geocache Description:

This cache is located along side the shore of beautiful Lower Otay Lake. As you view South and East from the Cache site you get a beautiful view of the lake combined with the devastation of the Otay Fire and often the Olympic Rowers in training.

The site is accessible from several nearby roadside parking areas. Several well defined trails in the area will lead you to within 30 feet of the Cache so please, No Bush Whacking. Please re-hid the cache better than you found it! This area is well used by non-cachers! This is a small camo ammo box, sporting a geocaching sticker on the outside of the box. Travel Bugs are welcomed and encouraged to visit this cache. The U.S. Olympic Training Center: Come See Where Olympic Athletes Are Made The U.S. Olympic Training Center is the first USOC training facility to be master-planned from the ground up and is dedicated to the development of America's future Olympic athletes. The year-round, warm weather facility in Chula Vista, California, supports nine Olympic venues: archery, rowing, canoe/kayak, soccer, softball, field hockey, tennis, track and field, and cycling. An estimated 4,000 athletes a year come to the 150-acre complex to receive the coaching, support and facilities necessary to be their best. Original cache contents: Super Swag!
