MacDougall's Bushmills - NOT! Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Yuzawa Kat: This is no longer a temporary hold. Rather than replace the second GeoTag, we'll start fresh with a new cache here soon. Thanks to all who came, who saw, and who "conquered" this cache. Glad you had fun! Have a blessed day. Happy caching.

Geocache Description:

A short and sweet multi-cache in a small residential park. Part of the park is only open from dawn to dusk, but the final cache is not in that part of the park.

This delicacy of a park in Safety Harbor has three distinct personalities. It is the type of place MacDougall , a pretending-to-be-dour Scot, might go if the gargoyles he collects were real creatures, as he is always looking to expand his collection.

Stroll beneath the towering Pond Cypress at dusk...  Glimpse the breeze playing tag through the shrouds of Spanish moss...  Hear the snap, crackle, pop of squirrels and other creatures foraging for their dinner...  Or are they looking for their dinner?  Imagine they are all looking at you, whispering about you...  What are YOU doing in their territory?  Be on your best GXing behavior; avoid being spotted by GeoMuggles.  No bushwhacking at all, please.  Cache In Trash Out and you'll be welcome back again anytime.

To honor the park's
three part personality, this is a three part mini-multi.  For SSR's sake, each set of coords will include both the longitude and the latitude of something you need to find.

The given coords take you to a
GeoTag.  The GeoTag's coords take you to a tree with another GeoTag.  You know you have the correct tree if you look on the east side and "see" a prehistoric crocodile skull encased in the tree.  On the second GeoTag, which is in the same tree but not on the crocodile's side, you will find the coords of the final cache.

The cache container had a former life as a pretzel barrel.  MacDougall , who took Yuzawa Kat on her first night cache (which turned out to be his very FIRST cache), gave us the idea for this cache's contents.  Last summer, when Yuzawa Kat was his guest, each night he'd graciously offer to share his Bushmills Irish Whiskey. However, he always seemed relieved when she declined.  We think he'd prefer to share his Scotch, eSPECIALly the non-alcoholic kind!  Fellow GXers, enjoy the fruits of his sense of humor here in this cache.  Also, feel free to take a bit o' the MacDougall GXing tartan, as long as it lasts. Even when it runs out, welcome to our multi-national GXing clan.

The following sentiments, from Bushmills' official website, sound a bit like what we feel GXing does for us:

Throughout history, individuals from every land and every time
have influenced and altered the way we think, act and feel.

Bushmills encourages the Spirit of Individuality within all of us,
and honours those individual spirits who've made
a difference in our quality of life.

Our thanks to the delightful Mary Shannon O'Soundslikefun for placement permission.  Have a blessed day.  Happy caching ~~
