Geocache Description:

A basic cache in York County.

This little strip of a public area is dedicated to two basic functions, which are quite apparent when you visit. Now, geocaching gives the space a third recreational use – cache-hunting! The given coordinates above will only allow you to park. For the cache coordinates, you will have to go ‘back to basics’ – basic observation and basic math. For the north coordinate of the cache, subtract the acreage of the park from N37’38”. For the west coordinate, divide the year the park was built by one thousand, and add that quotient to W76’24.358”. As you leave the paved area, try not to draw the attention of geo-muggles who may be using the site for its other purposes. Please do not seek this cache after dark, even though the facility is technically open. You will draw muggles and leos, and force me to remove the cache.
