Geocache Description:

An easy three/four season cache, with a nice (close) view of the Kennebec River, just up from the "Great Eddy".

This cache should be findable pretty much year round (if snowfall isn't too excessive). In the summer, park in the Kennebec Banks parking area. At other times, you can park at the boat landing if you want a nice little walk, or beside the road if a "drive-by" is more to your liking. If the weather is nice, bring your boat and/or a picnic lunch.

Please use caution if you take the trail by the river, and please re-hide cache carefully. Cache is an Aladdin Wide-mouth Thermos, so modest-sized trade items are recommended. Pick up a Maine Geocaching Trading Card, while supplies last.
