Geocache Description:

A beautiful view of the Towers rock formations.Go North on Trona Drive. Go under I-80 and park in a large dirt parking lot to see a lot of "BIG WYOMING ROCKS'

One of my favorite places for sunset and sunrise pictures. The slopes can be slick when when wet and snowy. There were lots of pigeons roosting on the rocks. Several hawks were also soaring around, waiting for a meal. Look to the East and you will see Tea Kettle Rock and Sugarbowl Rock. To the North is the Giants Thumb. Across the interstate is Tollgate Rock, sometimes called Split Rock or Sleeping Giant. A railway traveler in 1883 referred to this area as "Solomon's Temple' petrified. Visit the County Museum in Green River to visit and to get a brochure titled "Nature's Art Shop" for more history of the formations in this area.
