This cache is located in a park, and is very accessible.
My first visit to this park was at night. I pulled up to a typical-looking parking lot next to a typical-looking bridge into a typical-looking mowed field. The only interesting feature I saw was a boat launch. Then I noticed something--a train engine, well-lit, just down the way, with a fence around it.
I investigated the train engine, and then followed the tiny tracks, wondering where the mini-train was kept. As I continued in that direction, I noticed an animal enclosure--was I at a zoo?--and then a covered bridge. This park was getting interesting!
When I approached the covered bridge, I noticed the barn and all the animal pens around the barn. Ahhh, must be a small petting zoo. There was also a small path, which I followed, and I found a playground and a log cabin. From the log cabin, an old-fashioned bandstand was visible and lit. I went over to the bandstand, viewed Lake Winnebago from there, checked out the picnic shelter, turned around, and saw a double gazebo and a water fountain. I went to the water fountain, where I found some topiary, too.
At this point, I took a big look around me. I saw a lighthouse, ball fields, and quite a few bridges, surrounding an inlet. To my amazement, none of the bridges were identical! Each was done in its own style.
This park seems to offer only a little bit of quite a few things. Wander around and see what other interesting features this park may have to offer. The log can be found in a camo-covered pill bottle.
