"Well,
sir, there's nothing on Earth like a genuine, bona fide,
electrified, six-car monorail!"
-Lyle Laney (The Simpsons: Episode 9F10, Marge vs. the
Monorail)
Despite
my Simpson's reference to monorail hucksterism, I am a genuine, bona
fide fan of the future Seattle Monorail -- In fact this cache is
dedicated to a certain person working ardently toward that future.
But
why wait for the future when there is a perfectly good Monorail in Seattle today. It has been operating continuously
for forty-plus years.
Whoa! Update. The Monorail has been shut down since Memorial Day 2004 until the completion of the investigation into the causes of an electrical fire that started on one of the trains. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries despite the train being at nearly full occupancy. Until the Monorail is back up, the cache will be limited to Seattle Center. See details below.
Seattle
Center: Go to the posted
coordinates. Well, not exactly. Go near those
coordinates. They direct you to another left-over feature from
the Fair, one of my favorites (after the Monorail, of course), and
no, it's not pictured above. Very near this feature, on the
ground, there are four permanent signs, each conveying the
same message. Jot down that message in the table below. Depending on the
day and time, this may be a challenge. Just remember, the
world is ever-changing -- pick your moment!

Count
the letters in each word and record them in the second column.
Those form the key used to solve the following equations:
Q
= C - A
R = B + C
S = C - E
T = A + D + E
