Hangtown's Final Rest Traditional Cache
carzoo: Never had a chance to replace. This area is worthy of a micro, but not a traditional cache. I'm disappointed that the cache disappeared, but I am also thankful that our local cemeteries have been cleaned up over the past few months. Thanks for checking out this special place.

This site is at the location of one of the oldest cemeteries in El Dorado County. Be sure to take your time and look the nice views of Placerville. There is space for parking next to the cemetery, but can be a nice walk (up a steep hill) from downtown Placerville.
We agree that having a cache, filled with Christmas goods, in a cemtery, is a bit odd; however, don't feel obligated to leave just holiday items. It's just that we are entering the holiday season, and thought it would be an appropriate start. Please be careful to re-hide the cache carefully so that it can't be easily spotted. This is a medium sized cache container that is wrapped in a black plastic bag.
