A one/two mile easy hike from the campground.
You can park at the Dripping Springs campground (N33.7.916 W116.58.312) in the Aqua Tibia portion of the Cleveland National Forest, a short distance outside Temecula. Even if the campground is closed you can park in the lot outside the gate. You need an adventure pass and you can't get it at the campground, so come prepared. The trail rises from the far rear part of the camping area. A ways up the trail there is a split, Horse Trail straight and Dripping Springs Trail to the left. I won't tell you which way to go, just to make it more of a challenge. The cache has a number of interesting things in it, and shouldn't be too hard to find. If you come in the summer bring lots of water - because it can be very hot here. Winter is a nice hike, and the place is dog friendly. Good luck.
