Geocache Description:

This is a 5-stage cache. The coordinates listed above are for the first cache box, located in James Boyce Park along the McAlpine Greenway. The park entrance is on Boyce Road, off of Sardis road. Terrain varies from rough trails to pavement to gravel, some flat and some uphill/downhill. You should be able to tackle this one in less than two hours.

Inspired by B&E's "MONOPOLY MADNESS" cache (now archived), this is one in a series of game-related cache hunts. (Also see "CHUTES AND LADDERS" GCHJJJ and "CHESS - CONCORD STYLE" GCM84R (both located in Cabarrus County).

This is a 1.7 mile hike. The cache box at Stage 1 contains copies of the crossword puzzle, additional crossword puzzle clues and the coordinates for Stage 2. The Stage 1 clue info may be on the front OR reverse side of the crossword puzzle. The paper crossword puzzles are in a zip-lock bag in a Tupperware box which is inside an ammo box. Please help by ensuring that the bag is zipped tight and the cover is on the Tupperware when you leave. Please take only ONE copy of the puzzle for your hunt and leave the rest for those who follow. With the puzzle clues listed below and those on the crossword puzzle, you can complete most of the puzzle before you go into the woods. Be sure to print this page and take it with you. Complete the crossword puzzle to find the coordinates for the final cache, another ammo box. Each clue tag will give you more puzzle clues and the coordinates for the next clue tag.

DO YOUR CROSSWORD PUZZLE IN UPPER CASE LETTERS!!!

As always, when searching for the boxes and clue tags, take care not to draw the attention of passing hikers/walkers/cyclists.
