While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Baumgartner Park in Sterling Heights. I played softball on the fields here for many years. Parking is located behind the fire station. The cache is a 2 quart rubbermaid jar covered with camoflauge tape. It is filled with miscellaneous items including many I picked up at the recent mortgage brokers convention. Special custom FTF Team Jammer Geotoken to the first finder!

The terrain is pretty easy but be careful after you enter the woods since there is a considerable amount of broken glass in some areas.

Please remember to rehide the cache container exactly as you found it since there is evidence of geomuggle activity in the area!
