This cache is placed in honour of Dexter, my 11-year-old beagle/lab cross who was rescued from an uncertain future five years ago. He loves this trail and meets several of his four-legged buddies while we are out walking. Safest winter parking is at N45°19.365 W 075° 55.427. Young kids will enjoy the park play structures (big kids will just have to watch!). In the winter, you can take in the outdoor skating rink on site, or the nearby Toboggan Hill at N45°17.803 W 075° 54.074. There is a smaller tobogganing spot for the littler ones at N45°19.342 W 075° 55.036
Since Dexter appreciates the little things in life, the cache only holds small items. At the time it was placed, the cache included:
