We visit family in Chelan several times per year, and after hunting several caches in the area, we decided to make our own.
This cache is a replacement for the original "Munsoned in Manson" cache that was plundered in August 2003.
The cache is hidden in orchard area above Manson but not in an orchard.
The original cache contents are a bungie cord, a Chelan postcard, putty knife, foam paint brush, 3, a pair of (wire) nuts, and an excellent Tofu burger recipe we couldn't wait to get rid of.
There is also a CAMERA in the cache. Take your picture after you're done so we can see who's been here.
This may not be the "Kingpin" of all caches, however in your "spare" time you should be able to "bowl" this one over.
Posting scenic pictures of the area with your log is always appreciated by the cache owners (who are often out of the area)!
EXTRA: Anybody have any guesses what this cache is named after and where the bowling references come from??
