So. Ft Worth Travel Bug Hotel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ex135nav: I regret to inform all viewers that this Travel Bug Hotel has been destroyed. Although it was 10+ feet above normal water level, sometime in the last few weeks it was washed away. There is evidence of flooding debris as much as 3 or 4 feet above it's location in the brush around it. A search of nearly 1/2 mile yielded neither the cache container (a 18 inch hollowed out log approximately 18 inches long) or the cache itself (an ammo can).

I especially regret the loss of the travel bug "Orc wanting to go home". Although another travel bug (Francine the French Key Ring) was shown to be in attendance, it hadn't been there for over a month. It may still survive out there somewhere.

This hotel looks a lot like an ammo can with a Geocaching sticker on the side.
