Palisades Park Traditional Cache
jombbl: We are giving up this one to the critter family that has taken up residence in the cache location.
Though it was ideal place to stash a geocache, in Mother Nature's world it makes an even more ideal place for a critter den.
We will scout around Palisades Park for another cache location to continue to provide a little entertainment for geocaching inclined visitors to the Park.
Thanks to all of the GCHB16 finders who shared your finds and visits here at Palisades Park for nearly 17 years!

Welcome to Palisades Park, a place where you can climb rocks, scale rocks, or just stumble over rocks of all sizes!
Hang on to your kids! (And your adults!) The cache is about a .25 mile hike from the parking lot, but it's fairly strenuous. The trail starts at the top of a cliff at N33 59.268 W086 27.457. There is a drastic elevation change in the first few feet, where you'll most likely have to slide on your bum, but after that it's fairly flat, with just some small ups and downs and lots of rocks.
You'll likely see lots of climbers and rappelers on the way to the cache, but hopefully it's secluded enough for them not to notice you. Please replace the cache just as you found it to keep it away from the notice of any geomuggles. The cache is in a small ammo can, and is full of goodies.
