Geocache Description:

As you probably guessed by the title, this is the first cache to be placed in Diboll.

It also has the distinction of being the oldest physical cache in Angelina County.

History CenterThe first stage coordinates will lead you to Diboll, Texas and our HISTORY CENTER. I would like to encourage each of you to visit our new museum, but the cache can be completed without going inside, or being present during operating hours.

First Stage:

Behind the History Center, there is an old locomotive on display with a timber car and caboose attached. To complete the coordinates for the second stage, fill in the blank spaces using the following combination of numbers found painted on the locomotive and the two cars.

1) Place the sum of the two digits found on the locomotive in space 1.
2) Place the two digits from the locomotive in spaces 2 and 3.
3) Place the single digit from the caboose in spaces 4 and 5.
4) Place the difference of the fourth and first digit found on the timber car in space 6.

 Second Stage:

The coordinates created above will lead you to a remote section of Diboll's OLD ORCHARD PARK.

Depending on your approach, you may be crossing a creek to get to the final stage.

The cache is in a completely hidden and camouflaged ammo can.

Please replace the cache as found and be careful to conceal it from nearby local children that like to wander these woods.
