Geocache Description:


Balance Rock was set by the boyscouts of Troop 409 while camping in Bland Canyon. The Trail Head used for the start of the bushwacking hike up a ridge and or creek bed is where the geocache adventure starts (N35* 42.256' W106* 25.074'). Look for a 2 1/2" by ~14" PVC pipe. The rating is a 4 due to no trails. Younger kids are capable if watched closely. In the summer watch out for Rattle snakes like in all areas of the South West. Look for Deer you just might see a few.
