Geocache Description:

Note: Cache position was slightly adjusted on 11April, 2004 to avoid necessity of any bushwacking.
Recommend starting at 48deg 30.979'N, 122deg 36.277'W.
Access to this area was enhanced within the last 20 years, but still not a lot of visitors. The first leg of the short walk is quite straightforward with vistas and opportunities for short sidetracks. The last leg is very slightly more involved, but does have some hazardous nearby terrain so please keep children close by.

The cache container is an ammo box and is hidden in a new spot that had decent GPS reception on April 11, 2004. GPS reception may not be quite as good as vegetation leafs out in spring and summer (I'll check then). Initial cache contents include a set of pliers, chalkboard, chalk, some toys with a seaside theme, and miscellaneous other items.Access should be fairly straighforward with no rock or cliff scaling required. However, there are areas of hazardous terrain nearby so children should be kept close.
