Geocache Description:

Located in the Anza-Borrego State Park. This series of hidden valleys of which 2 are actually playas are seldom visited. The 5 mile round trip is easy walking except for one 200 yd. stretch where boulder hopping and brush may slow you down. Bring food, water, and a compass. Be ready for a surprise along the way.

Trailhead is at the parking area for the Blair Valley Pictographs. Go north from the pictographs across the flats till you drop into the wash that drains into Smugglers Canyon. Follow this wash north-west for about 3/4 mile. Enter the inlet or cove straight ahead in the wall of boulders. After 100 yds. check out the very large boulder on your left!!! The first hidden valley is actually on the other side of these boulders, so back track the 100 yds. Go west and enter this valley. This is a special place and rarely do I find footprints. You could spend hours exploring the boulders and rock-shelters. To find the other valleys and cache area, cross this valley and climb the pass at the north end. Enjoy. 10 Jan. Thanks to Duscwe the coordinates listed should be right. I've added a new spoiler picture as of 4 May '06. Please download and take with you. Find the place where the picture was taken and you have found the cache. Accuracy in this area is very low.
