Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a Knoxville park, with over a half mile hike from the parking area, depending on which trail you take, (if) you stay on a trail. The cache is a thin ammo box about 170' off the nearest trail.

This area has been developed into a Mtn. Bike/Hiking trail park by local volunteers and has a great trail system in it. Go here for trail map ( (visit link) ).
Its best to park at this location: N35 53.794 W083 57.108.
The trailhead is at the N.E. end of the parking lot along the lakeshore. After a rain, some sections of the trail will be muddy and the Park gate will be closed at night.
There is an active railroad track just North of the park. THERE IS NO NEED TO GO ON THE RR TRACKS. The trail goes a short distance along the lakeshore and then into the woods. There are numerous trails near the cache and this cache can be reached by boat when the lake levels are up.
