Nice little canyon, rarely seen or used. It has no name I can find so I named it.
Take the Black Rock Rd. exit off of I-15 and go right at the stop sign. Milage from the stop sign to a Y is 0.4mi. Stay right. Blacktop ends at 0.7mi. Follow main dirt road to a corral at 1.2mi. To this point the road is passable by a passenger car. You can continue about another 1/2mi in a sandy wash, but hiking is more fun. Follow the wash down and eventually it becomes a canyon. The canyon is not longbut there are a couple of 4-6ft drops that are not hard to get past. My GPS worked just fine in the canyon.
