Geocache Description:

This is down in a canyon at the limit of where the GPS will register 3 satellites.

At the turnoff to Warner Valley (WVT) go straight instead of turning. The pavement ends in 0.4mi. There is a Y 3.9mi from WVT, go right over the Ft. Pierce wash. There is another Y at 4.6mi from WVT, go right. There is another Y at 5.8mi from WVT, go right again and the road gets smaller. At 6.5mi from WVT their is an area where you can park and hike into the canyon on the left. The GPS reading there is 36deg. 57.985N, 113deg. 29.020W. The cache is as far into the canyon as the GPS would read.
I have been asked why we call it Cody's pee canyon. We have a big black Great Dane female (155lbs). When she was just a puppy we hiked further into the canyon with her and our Golden Retriever. At one point there are 2 room sized rocks seperated by a gap of 2+ ft. We tried to coax Cody across several times but she wouldn't do it and got so nervous she peed on the rock. Hence the name Cody's pee canyon.
