Most of the local geocachers are already familiar with the Blue Bird Diner, so this may not be a big surprise to anyone in the Antelope Valley:
We are having a get together at the Blue Bird Diner
in Lancaster to compare notes,
visit and enjoy each others company.
We will be handing out awards for the most found,
most hidden, youngest/oldest cacher, farthest traveled, who eats at the diner the most, etc. (Bring your own Stats, Please)
There will be a special menu for the event for $8 to $10 per person.
All you can drink soda and home made desserts.
Beer and wine is available for individual purchase.
Please post a note if you will be attending.
Post Script:
Team PerkyPerks will be bringing along an ammo can.
For those who are interested, people can contribute their "signature" items, and Team PerkyPerks will place the cache following the event. DoeWalking was kind enough to do this after Watering Hole event last year, so they thought they would carry on the tradition.
