Geocache Description:

This cache provides an aid to navigating the Golder Ranch area for bikers, hikers, and equestrians. It is a glass "Planters Peanuts" container with maps and a log with pen. It is just a short hike from the parking area at the end of Golder Ranch Road. The map is not to scale, but it does have pertinent gps waypoints for the many intersecting trails and roads in the western sections of this area. It also has the real distances between these intersections as measured while bike riding. We ask that you try to return the map to the cache when you are finished so that we don't have to replenish it too often. We will understand if you desire to keep the map, just say so in the posting or by e-mail. Then we will know when we need to place new map copies.
Look for the yellow cap on the container. You may have to be right on top of it if the lighting is not just right.
You will need a "state Trust Land" permit to access this area.
Don't forget to admire the views from here!
