This cache will take you to the dunes that tower over the Pacific just West
of Hwy 1. The cache container is a rectangular tupperware with an assortment of
items. Parking is on the old Ft. Ord area just East of the Hwy. You
may want to look at the parking suggestions for the nearby Semaphore
Section Sketch cache, or try and find the *secret* parking spots in Ft. Ord
that afford a quicker access under the freeway ;)
Note: There are acres and acres of ice plant in this area, however occasionally
you can run across some struggling native species. Feel free to trample on
the ice plant, but be careful where you walk.
