Geocache Description:

On the Cross Seminole trail near Oviedo & Winter Springs. Black Hammock trailhead is the closest trailhead. Fairly easy find, but the mosquitoes can be tough.

*** UPDATED! New container (now an ammo can) should keep it a bit more protected. Several new cars, new log, SLIGHTLY new coordinates. The old placement used to be on an equestrian path that is no longer used, so the underbrush (and mosquitoes) really got difficult. I relocated the cache several yards away, and easier to get to. ***

BASCAR is like NASCAR, only smaller. The cache contains a log and several Hot Wheels and/or Matchbox type cars. I got the cars from my son, whose initials are BAS, hence, the name of the cache. This is a "car trading" cache. Bring a Hot Wheels or Matchbox, etc. car to trade with any that are in there. But please trade quantity for quantity, OK? I've had the cache completely depleted of cars from time to time. Make it car(s) in decent shape if possible (or nobody's gonna want to trade!), and describe the make/model in your log entry. The cache is just off the Seminole trail (used to be within sight of the sign that marks an entry to one of the horse/hiker trails, but the sign -- and horse trail -- are history). If driving, you'll need to park at the trailhead by 434 and bike or hike. Within about 20 feet of the trail. Florida style concealment, unless somebody changes it :-)
