LC1 Traditional Cache
MiMi's Mob: My apologies to the last two cachers. After checking on this today, it is missing. The container has been removed and there is no sign it was ever there. Due to the nature of the container, I will not replace it, as it too would be removed (probably by maintenance personnel). Sorry - but this one is gone.

This is the first of our series of Urban caches. Urban caches are hidden in plain sight. These were inspired by several different cachers in the Albuquerque and Portales area. If you have never found these Urban caches, be ready for a new experience. After you find the first one, the rest should be easier.
This cache is located in a city park with public access. The park area does close at 11:00 p.m. Please obey all signs and enjoy the area. There may be other people in the park, so use caution when locating the cache to prevent it from being pilfered!
This is part of the La Llorona park where another cache is located, however, it is several miles away. Please visit that cache also.
This park has extensive walkways that can be used for an enjoyable stroll along this area. Many different people use this area for relaxation and enjoyment. Numerous couples and elderly people can be seen strolling along here. My grandmother used to live in another New Mexico town at 420 Merriwether, but that is another story.
Original items in this cache include a Space Center pencil, a designer croakies, rubber snake, bouncy ball, a keychain tape, a Geocaching keychain, Ty beanie bear, and a mechanical pencil. This cache is small in size and should provide a moderate challenge for cachers.
