This 25 acre Pelican Bay park features a nice park for kids,adults and senior citizen. It has a basketball court, volleyball court, shuffle board, tennis, soccer and baseball field. It has a small lake for catch and release fishing. You can bike, walk or run on a paved trail. The park opens between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
This cache is for the lighthearted and geocacher on the run. It is not a drive-through geocaching but pretty much a cache and dash type.
We placed an ammo can on the base of a tree and covered with dry leaves and pine needles. What kind of a tree you ask? I dont know!! Do I sound like a botanist or horticulturist. Okay, I'll give you a hint. It has two trunks and branches all over with green leaves. Yeap!! That narrows down your choices to 37 trees...give or take a tree perhaps. So take my advice...trust your GPS and let the FORCE be with you.
